Shopping is the best therapy.

For monthly cramps! (And Panadol too la, of course.)

Went shopping at Queensbay Mall on Saturday for the first time since I got back to Penang, even though it hurt sooo bad. But I'm glad I did because I'm in love with my new purchases!

My sister and I only had RM100 to share between the two of us, but you wouldn't believe how we managed to stretch our money! Some very trusted shops indeed did not fail me, price and goods-wise.

The first thing I bought was hair accessories at Brands Outlet! Brands Outlet (part of the Padini Group) has like really cheap sunglasses, statement tees, shoes, belts, accessories and hair stuff. And clothes too la, but I never bother with them.

I bought this uber chio Juicy Couture-ish hair scrunchy! I haven't worn hair scrunchies in a year but I intend to use them again once I get straight hair.

Cute and preppy bow hair scrunchies! The pink one caught my eye first and I bought the blue one with my school uniform in mind.

And some plain rainbow-coloured hair ties.

Next are the nail polishes! You can never have too many :D These first two are from Face Shop, a shimmery glam pink (PP407) and gold (GL112).

This third one is from Sinma. Silver! Which I hunted the whole mall for.

Anyway, guess how much were the Face Shop nail polishes?? I bet you can't! I'll just tell you.

ONLY RM3.90 EACH!!!

Like omgwtfbbq right?! That's only B$1.60!! Cause the original price is RM5.90 but they had Christmas promotion. I told the sales assistant it's like stealing! :D I feel like going back and buying more!

But OH, while on the topic of Face Shop... guess how much they're selling the eyelash curler that I bought for B$3.90 in Brunei? RM19.90!! :O Told my sister you have to be smart and know what items to buy in which country! Lol.

The Sinma polish is RM8.50, but that one nevermind la, cause it was SO hard to find that particular type of silver that I wanted. Opaque and chrome, not translucent and shimmery.

And last but not least, THE BELT!! I went into so many shops looking for a belt, but in every shop, there's guaranteed no nice blacks ones, or worse, no black at all!

Then we were walking to Momoe to look at the shoes my sister wanted, when we passed the store display of Pots-1. And on one of the mannequins was the most gorgeous black bow wide stretch belt evah!

I immediately stopped walking, turned in and went to dig in their belt section. The black was no longer on the rack (confirmed been bought) only brown and white, but luckily they had more stock in the store room. I bought it on the spot.

It's like omfg-gorgeous loh! And for a very reasonable RM23.90 only. Heck, I consider it cheap! In Brunei where can find such a nice belt for only B$10?! I wonder why I didn't look in Pots-1 earlier, because I bought a nice silver belt from there before. So from now on, Pots-1 will be my one and only destination for belts!

And the other day, my sister picked up my Nivea cherry lip balm in Guardian for me (only RM7.90, in Brunei I think it's B$5.90, wtf right! I love Malaysia shopping), just wanted to show you how much chioer the new packaging is compared to the old one.

I love it! And this new one is even glossy! I can't live without my Nivea cherry lip balm. The one day that I forgot to wear it to school, people kept telling me I looked so pale and asked if I was sick! Lol! My lips are naturally pale lah, unfortunately.

And the reason I really love shopping in Malaysia?

At Jusco.

At Tesco.

The wonderful customer service! Cilaka, in Brunei so hard to find efficient and friendly salespeople! Always giving the chao chao face and work so slowly while sms-ing on your Nokia phone and trying to speak to me in Bruneian -__-"
