You've got a friend in me.

I think Monday was my most eventful day in a LONG time! I haven't gone "out" in forever (schedule's been driving me nuts). Finally I got to go out with Rachel, before she went back to Melbourne, and Alisa!

First we had lunch at Countrypatch Cafe with 3 of Rachel's high school friends: Faith, Jelphine and Hui Na (sp?). I was adventurous and ordered BANGERS AND MASH and Milo Dinosaur!!!

T'was sooo good!

Then we went to none other than Empire Hotel and Country Club to watch a movie. It's Brunei's premier 7-star resort hotel.

Empire cinema rocks socks. I so wanna go there more often. Even rented a comfy, wonderful-smelling blankie to cuddle during the movie cause I was cold!

(Pssst, it was my first time going to the Empire cinema = very sakai = lots of camwhoring :P)

Compadres for the day!

Your friendly neighbourhood Anti-Piracy Man!

Fuck. Totally forgot what my mum told me about not wearing pinks/reds D:

Introducing... Alisa's What the ABCDEFG is she doing?! face.

GUESS WHAT???

NO NO!

You have to GUESS!!!

Okay fine, be that way!

I AM NO LONGER A TOY STORY VIRGIN, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!

I WATCHED TOY STORY 3!!! (For that matter, I watched 1 and 2 a few days ago too!)

To infinity... and beyoooond!
(I was tryinna mimick Buzz's ridiculous hamsap facial expression and failed horribly.)

*No movie spoilers*

I couldn't be more glad. Toy Story is AH-MAY-ZING. Laughing till your stomach hurts one second, and sobbing your eyes out the next!

And yes, I cried during ALL 3 Toy Stories! But the most was during the 3rd one obviously. I looked like dees:

Almost everybody of all ages and genders freaking cried for Toy Story 3, it's that touching. And as a testimony to the amazing waterproof powers of Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara... it didn't run at all!

In a way, I'm actually grateful that I watched all of it now, at the ripe old age of 16. I have a much better capacity to understand, appreciate and remember the movies! Than if I was say... 6.

I think my fave new character is BARBIE!!! (Haha wtf so typical bimbo of me -_- But you have to watch the movie to know why she's likeable!) Made me miss my old Barbies cho cho much :'(

LOTSO HUGGING BEAR, WO PU XI HUAN NIE!!!!!!!1

While everybody else is going cuckoo for Eclipse (I don't give a crap about Twilight and adamantly refuse to watch such drivel), I'm in love with Toy Story! ♥♥♥

Okay, enough about the toys. It was raining T_T So we drove to the main hotel building for a PHOTO-TAKING SESSION!!! Holy kanasai, I've dreamed of camwhoring in Empire for a-fucking-ges!

Damn huge colour-edited photo of my face, hi! Colour editing is ♥

Then we went out into the rain to spin our umbrella, Mary Poppins style!

Shake it like a polaroid picture!
(Which is actually ironic cause Rachel said you're not supposed to shake polaroids if you want them to develop well... o.O)

A hallway of mirrors - definitely every vain girl's dream come true!

This photo is so unflattering T_T Shows off all the things I always try to hide... you can tell I have a crooked smile and that my face is anything but symmetrical. But I'm posting it cause I think the mirrored effect is cool!

Dunch know how I managed to achieve this "dark room" effect when it wasn't even dark at all!

Then we took the elevator down to the bottom floor, to go take photos in the Baze. But unfortunately, there were people moving furniture around in it, so we settled for using one of the mirrored hallways (they're everywhere!) outside the Baze.

And then begins the string of really weird, random poses. My idea ^^

The wo yau poo poo pose! Looks like Rachel's about to karate kick me in the butt D:

The ouch, my back! pose

Fobby Jap girl pose.

*gasp* We're such bimbos! pose.

Must give sultry look till we die wannabe models pose.

Prima ballerina!

REACH for the sky!

Do you love me? Cause I love you.

My Disney movies checklist!

As the title says, I think you can almost guess what this post will be about...
Not to say I led a deprived childhood, in fact mine was a more-than-fulfilling one with everything I wanted and more. But, you can't want what you don't even know exists.

And as a child, I didn't know some of the best classic Disney animated movies of all time existed!! I was honestly extremely into Barney, Britney Spears, Barbie dolls and Cartoon Network!

I think this was mostly caused by the fact that I have much older siblings, who watched said Disney movies when they were young... so when it came to my turn, they were too old to want to watch it with me, and my parents were probably so sick of the movies already.

Thus, nobody ever introduced them to me :( And now that I'm older, I can't help but feel like I missed out on the "Disney magic"...

Okay, let's see how much I can shock you... get ready for it...

I've never watched Lion King before.

Yeah, these dudes over here? Nope, never seen 'em before.

I like to go around saying this sentence to people just to see their reactions... which are usually extremely amusing and look something like this: Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Oh, I've also never watched...
1. Beauty & The Beast
2. Toy Story
3. Bambi
4. Sleeping Beauty
5. Snow White
6. Aladdin
7. Peter Pan
8. Pinocchio
9. Dumbo
10. Jungle Book
11. Hercules
12. Hunchback of Notre Dame
13. Alice in Wonderland
14. Brother Bear
15. Cars
16. The Princess and the Frog... and, yeah.

I swear it's true. Are you thoroughly and completely WTF yet??

The only Disney movies I've seen before are Mulan, Pocahontas, Cinderella, Little Mermaid, A Bug's Life, Tarzan and Lady and the Tramp.

And of course most of the newer ones like Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Monsters Inc, 101 Dalmations, Treasure Planet, Finding Nemo, Chicken Little, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Meet The Robinsons and Bolt.

Contrary to popular belief, Anastasia is NOT a Disney movie. I ♥ it so much now though! Watched it a zillion times. But I used to HATE it when I was younger.

For those of you who've seen it, you can't deny it was fucking scary okay!! Rasputin was so damn creepy and all those green ghouly things that kept trying to kill Anastasia, and the ghosts of Anastasia's family luring her to her death OMG. Not a movie for kids!!! :S

So, over this coming weekend, since I predict myself getting bored and in need of severe distractions, I am on a mission!

A mission to watch ALL the famous classic Disney movies that I've never seen before! I don't think I'll actually succeed but it's the effort that matters, right? Right??

And I think nobody's EVER too old to go to DISNEYLAND!!! I'm still hoping to make a trip to the Hong Kong one some day, just for the novelty and nostalgia of it.

I'm really curious to know, what's everyone's favourite Disney animated movie of all time?

Distract me please.

Didn't go to school today. Just didn't think I could handle it. And I really, really do not do public displays of sadness.

Thank you to everyone who expressed their condolences. You're all so kind. I'm gonna be out of sorts the next few days, but I'll be fine eventually.

I'll be spending the whole of tonight watching Toy Story 1 and 2 on PPS. IF you can believe it, I've NEVER seen Toy Story before. So after this ppl can stop giving me the OMGWTFBBQ face.

And it gives my mind something else to focus on, thank God.

I changed my blog layout, in case you're blind and didn't notice (which is funny cause then you wouldn't even be able to read this. Omg just ignore me I'm blathering). I had drafted a whole bright and cheerful post to match it but of course now that seems inappropriate. Just look around and let me know what you think.

I like to be distracted. It's completely underrated as a coping method. You just have to keep on distracting yourself and not stop for even a moment.

Ah ma, I know I've never been your favourite, but you're the only grandmother I really have. Wherever you are, I'll miss you. Please help mummy and ah chee to stay strong. And say hello to ah kong for us.

I never got to show you this, but now you can see it from heaven.
