Traditionally traditional tradition.

Edit: No, Manda does NOT like Jan. Sorry just wanted to clarify that for Manda's sake. And I realized Jan can also name his son Wa Ri. Jan Wa Ri. LOL!! /edit.

Tradition (tra·di·tion)
n. - A time-honored practice or set of such practices.

For me, tradition happens once every 3 months or so and it means meeting up with 3 of my oldest friends from primary school back when we were tiny and silly and had bad hair (well, for me anyway, SO glad that's over phew!).

In particular it started when the scholar of the group went off to be a scholar (duh) in Singapore. For one night me, Ya Wen, Manda and Sharlyn catch up and share all our nyaman juicies, laugh and take photos, before going our separate ways again.

It was originally supposed to involve Ashley too but sigh, we gave up on that hope already :(

Our first destination is always Excapade Sushi. I look tanned here?? Macam Melayu or I used a lot of bronzer what turf.

Gay guy sex change drag queen Miss America ba zhang (err what was the newest addition?? I forgot bloody hell) Bruneian scholar.

This time the rule was that we're not allowed to order our usual foods that we always eat during tradition. So I took even longer than usual to order! D: I had total fear of mis-ordering yucky food!

Hitlah rocks on! o.O Shar, oh Shar.

Shar drank all that by herself without having to go to the toilet even once! Salute her bladder.

I had the tempura udon. And it wasn't nice :( FML maybe I should just eenie-meenie-mynie-moe in the future! Note to self: next time order the tomyam one. Tell them pls no cili padi I dowan to die.

Manda really needs some eyes!

"I'm telling you, there's been no development! It's like a y = constant graph." Or it could've been "My teacher said that saying x is smaller than infinity is like saying your mom is a woman."

Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair.

I think Rapunzel had a haircut lately la. This photo is so cute!

I tried some of Shar's tomyam udon. It was gooood no kidding.

Me no likey green tea, what's so nice about it? :(

Followed by dessert at Swensen's as usual. Or else call tradition for what?

Manda finally has eyes!

My platform wedges look super chio in this photo! Or maybe it's cause they're next to man shoes :D But the white part is starting to crinkle and crack off, I'm so heartbroken.

I hate camera flash. I could be Miss America, Pontianak version.

Manda's Nutty Kosong. LOL. She ordered Nutty Mighty and then faster told the waiter (waitress?) no this, no that, no sugar, no salt, I only wan macadamia nuts! xD

We shared a Chocolate Crunch.

She luffs her sundae.

The face says it all man. It's orgasmic!

It's unanimous. We all hate cherries. That's why we get along so well.

Quotes of the night (the ones I remember, eff my geriatric memory) :

Ya Wen: (sms-ing on her iPhone) "Yeah, this is my spare phone." Wah, me, Shar and Manda wanna strangle her on the spot!! X.X

Manda: "He asked me to touch his abs. In Geography class." Who can guess who she's talking about?? Will win a prize ;)

Ya Wen: "Jan is as sexy as Yos." BWAHAHAHAHA I am evil I totally took that out of its original context!

Okay, lemme explain that one. For some reason, Manda kept bringing up Jan the. whole. night! Jan this, Jan that. Ahem ahem. None of us even had any idea why! I must imagine the poor guy's ears have gotta be itching like mad.

For those who don't know, this is Jan the gentle janitor born in January. My awesomely punny pun!

What is it about Jan?! o.O We even hypothesized that if Manda married Jan, her name would be Amanda Jan. LOL! And he should name his soon Oo Ary (spelling may vary). So his full name will be Jan Oo Ary. Gettit?? WTF we really are nuts!

Then then Ya Wen commented that Jan is such an un-sexy name (typing the words Jan and sexy in the same sentence so many times is making me quite nauseous already la) and that 3 letter guy names are not sexy. Thus, Jan is as sexy as Yos (*cough* ahem *cough*). LOL! Cilaka, in context it's so normal and un-funny d :(

Don't you just love being around people you've known for so long? I can totally be myself because even though they're not my best friends, they still know all sorts of stupid nonsense about me from my childhood days. Don't have to worry about embarrassing myself cause they've probably seen it all before!

Comforting to the max :D

I realize there'll only be 3 more traditions for me to attend before I leave Brunei. Sigh. Not so comforting.
