Revamped.

Tada, I've given my blog another face lift! Ahead of schedule too! Was getting bored of my previous blogskin already. A downside to this whole 'rediscovering my love for blogging' thing is that I get bored of the appearance of my blog way too fast. I also tweet a lot less now... something my followers will probably be happy about anyway!

And know what? It's the 9th of September 2009! 09-09-09. Which also happens to coincidentally be my uncle and aunt's 10 year wedding anniversary. They got married on 09-09-99. Wonder what kind of cool wedding date I can have!

I don't usually get emo on this blog because it's for public consumption, but...

I've come to a point in my life where I no longer recognize the girl looking back at me in the mirror, or in photos. Who is she? She doesn't look like me... she's pretty, confident, sexy, glamorous... none of the things I am. When did I, the ugly duckling, turn into her, the swan?

Me, Maria and Jia Yee were talking the other day about how time flies so fast, and it still feels like the millenium just only began. When in reality, it was almost 10 years ago. We faced the fact that one day we would be old like our parents, our teenage kids would think our clothes are fugly and that Lady Gaga was SO last century. And that's hard to deal with, y'know?

For the exact reason that time goes by so fast, I really do want to live like there's no tomorrow, and love like I've never been hurt.
