The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

To be honest, I seldom watch Hollywood awards shows these days. I usually just check the results and best dressed list online. Lol.

I watched this one mostly out of boredom, who knew it would turn into blogging material!

And so, without further ado...

First up, we have the AWARD WINNERS! Some of which were of course, very predictable. This section gonna be quite shitty cause I'm only gonna focus on the some more well known ones, or else later you start snoring and call me boring :(

Hey that rhymes! I can has future as poet!! Lolol.

DUH, Avatar won the biggest award of the night, Best Motion Picture - Drama!!! For the 2nd highest grossing movie of all time, NO SURPRISES AT ALL! :D

James Cameron really pwns, now he has BOTH the #1 AND #2 highest grossing box office movies OF ALL TIME! Mustmust kowtow!

I STILL HAVEN'T WATCHED IT YET! Omg how depressing is my life <=(

Sandra Bullock won Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for The Blind Side. No idea what movie this is, but my mommy says it's good?

Robert Downey Jr won Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical, another predictable one! With a big hit like Sherlock Holmes, obviously he would win, right?

I HAVEN'T SEEN SHERLOCK HOLMES YET EITHER, KILL ME NAO!!

Meryl Streep won Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical for Julie & Julia. Another movie I've never watched. I have no laif T__T

Glee won Best Comedy or Musical TV Series, so disgustingly predictable! Lolol. Even though I'm not a fan, I know how big Glee is, and how many people watch it (I think the ratings are 14 million in the U.S.) so it was no surprise at all.

But oh my, it was so strange to see the mean, intimidating cheerleading coach (Jane Lynch) in a long, flowing green evening gown! Lol.

Julianna Margulies won Best Actress in a TV Series - Drama for The Good Wife. I'll always remember her as Carol from E.R. with all that curly hair! But she's so much prettier with straight hair.

Some guy named Michael C. Hall (looks familiar) won Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama for some show called Dexter. Ok la, I very TV-illiterate right now cause I'm in my own little PPS cocoon!

Toni Collette won Best Actress in a TV Series - Comedy or Musical for some show called United States of Tara. Again, refer to the reason above why I don't know what the heck show this is.

Of course, James Cameron won Best Director for Avatar, no surprises there! I think I once tweeted that this year, all the other directors got no chance at any awards shows already, they can just go home and sleep. Lol!

Next up, one for the girls... THE BEST DRESSED! As according to People.com's Style Watch.

Looking at all the glitzy designer gowns made my mind wander once again back to prom T___T

If you dunno who the actresses are, just go Google them. I lazy to put descriptions, and I bet nobody will even read.

Drew Barrymore - Atelier Versace.
Those big decorations on her shoulder and waist are made of glass!

Jennifer Aniston - Valentino.
I really didn't like this dress... that slit, it's just way too high! :O

She definitely doesn't have the perfect legs of a twenty-something... anymore.

Sandra Bullock - Bottega Veneta.
LOVE the jewel purple!

Penelope Cruz - Georgio Armani.

Jennifer Garner <3 - Atelier Versace.

Kate Hudson - Marchesa.

Her dress is actually a fishtail!

Halle Berry - KaufmanFranco.
Hmm, don't you think she looks kinda old? And so do some other actresses too, as you'll see later. I guess even the rich and famous can't look young forever.

Cameron Diaz - Alexander McQueen.

Julia Roberts - Yves Saint Laurent.

Kate Winslet - Atelier Yves Saint Laurent.

Nicole Kidman - Nina Ricci.

Heidi Klum (Project Runway, Victoria's Secret?!) - Roberto Cavalli.
I love this dress! So chio! I totally want a wedding dress that looks like this. I think I have a natural attraction to fishtail dresses.

Marion Cottilard - Christian Dior.
Such an unusual colour! Not green, and not blue.

Fergie - Elie Saab.
Wah hell, her push-up bra must be damn keng.

Lea Michele (Glee) in the ultimate ball gown by Oscar de la Renta.

Maggie Gyllenhaal - Roland Mouret.

Anna Kendrick - Marchesa.
Another one I really like. I love the frills across the shoulder.

Amy Adams (Enchanted) with a baby bump in Carolina Herrera.
Oh boy, those Louboutin stilettos can't be good for anyone preggo!

Vera Farmiga - Dolce & Gabbana.
Something about black + lace, etc always tends to look gothic.

Diane Kruger - Christian Lacroix.
Fuchsia! And not even a very nice shade. My eyes pain already.

Olivia Wilde (House M.D.) in Gucci.
She's auctioning off her gown for charity to help Haiti!

Carey Mulligan - Nina Ricci.
Again with the black + lace = gothic, look.

Emily Blunt - Dolce & Gabbana.
I LOVE!

Oh my God, is that Christina Aguilera? She was a presenter and in Versace.

January Jones - Lanvin.

Chloe Sevigny - Valentino.
I don't like this dress, it looks like such an explosion of ruffles D:

Ginnifer Goodwin - Vionnet

Other DRESSES I LIKED.

Dianna Agron (Glee).

Kristen Bell.

Rose Byrne (Damages). I love the deep, rich purple and waist details.

And then, the DRESSES I DIDN'T LIKE.

Christina Hendricks.
Omg, exploding carrot, anybody? And those boobs, one is even higher up than the other! Gah!

Tina Fey.
Expect the queen of comedy to turn up in an unconventional dress. But this one just makes her look so stumpy and short! She's actually 5'5", my height, plus those heels, she's definitely not short. Very unfortunate.

Leona Lewis.
Sorry, it just looks so... cheap!

Zoe Saldana (Avatar).
It looks like she's wearing a red shaggy rug/curtain -__-"

There are also of course, those CHIO ACTRESSES I ADORE!

Jennifer Garner!
Found out she's in Valentine's Day and was excited for it, till they said Taylor Lautner is also in it. Not a fan! D:

Ok ok, so you Taylor-lovers won't kill me, I'll post a big photo of him. Faster say thank you :D

Reese Witherspoon!
I can't believe I STILL want her hair! Mine isn't quite there yet :(

Jennifer Morrison (House, M.D.).
I love her to death in House! She's so purdeh. And oh my, such muscular arms :O

I tend to forget that awards shows are in fact also awards DINNERS, it's so funny to see the stars jostling past the tables to get to the stage. Where they would of course give the BEST ACCEPTANCE SPEECHES!

Drew Barrymore definitely had the sweetest and most emotional speech.

Robert Downey Jr's speech when he won Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Comedy of Musical was hilarious!

And omg, his wife is so so chio and pretty! I read an interview of him in the AirAsia magazine, where he talked about his relationship with his wife, it was so sweet!

It was, unfortunately, a rainy day and all the celebrities had to carry umbrellas down the RED CARPET! It's actually pretty cute seeing all these glamorously dressed up people holding umbrellas, or their assistants or husbands holding it for them.

I find this picture so funny and sweet! Fergie's manslave husband, Josh Duhamel (yum) keeping her dry while she poses for the paparazzi.

Another umbrella-holding husband! Nick Cannon for Mariah Carey. Omg her dress mad revealing can! So typical, lol.

Cameron Diaz with an umbrella that matches her red-hot dress.

Gerard Butler. Nah Jia Yee, since you said you like him :D

Kate Hudson looking utterly glamorous.

Dancing in the rain? :D Maria Menounos. Kasian that guy at the back has to carry her train, lol!

Okay, so now we know that celebs can still look fabulous while carrying hideous umbrellas. FOL!!

Because of what happened in Haiti recently, it was quite a solemn and serious awards show. Boohoo. Chrysler donated cars that were signed by celebrities at the awards show, to be auctioned off to raise $1 million for Haiti.

Maggie Gyllenhaal.

I guess that's pretty much a wrap! :D Time for me to go watch Roddick playing in the Australian Open, he'd better win this 3rd round match! My Australian Open blog post coming on Sunday :)
