It's still waiting to be blinged.
My typical day in KL starts with me being woken up by Ava... who will usually be poking or tickling or climbing over me, because I sleep on my sister's bed in her room. She's like a cannonball of joy in the morning the way she barrels right at me!
"Sar Ee" = third aunt, a.k.a. me.
How can you say no to that face??
Her adorable playpen.
Notice the similarity ;)
I am forever co-ercing my sister into buying pink stuff for Ava, so yay! :D
Presenting... ze cutest baby pikture evar!!!

SHOPPING!!!
Do you smell a shopping mall? Cause I do!
We went to 1 Utama for the day... emmefin huge thing that it is, we never made it out of the Old Wing -_-" Regret not going to Daiso in the New Wing though. But nemai! There's always end of the holidays.
RM5 bargains I found!! Awesome 4-sided nail buffer from Yokoso Shiyuki (a Japanese beauty store) and awesome 200-piece double eyelid tape from Sinma! Love both so much, wanna go back and get moar, moar, MOAR!!!
It's important to be thorough and vigilent when bargain shopping loh, the nail buffers I saw at Sinma were RM8 and the double eyelid tape (identical to the one I bought) at Yokoso Shiyuki was RM10!
AND AND...
I BOUGHT MY PROM DRESS!!! ❤❤❤
Went into a couple of shops and didn't see anything I liked. Most were too plain and predictable... you know, all the same satin dresses in repetitions of cream, silver, black and red. Blah! Some on the other hand were way too kuazhang! Beads and frills and rosettes exploding everywhere! -_-
I realized that when shopping, it's best to stick with shops that you know well, you're almost always guaranteed to find something you like, rather than getting disappointed in random unfamiliar stores.
So I went into Nichii. A mother-effing huge Nichii! And headed straight for the dress section, where I found this really chio black tube dress! I was kinda sad when it looked so nice on me, cause I was adamant against getting a strapless dress that I might end up adjusting all night long. Plus it was slightly over my budget at RM150.
Hyuk hyuk, I bet now all of you are thinking "Wtf why she so kiamsiap one!!!" It's not that I'm kiamsiap... it's just that in KL especially, it's SO easy to find gorgeous stuff for much much less (quality AND quantity, you can now have your cake and eat it too!) that I'd rather not sell myself short. And I'd also rather not wear a dress with a heavy heart knowing that I could cure poverty in Africa with the money I spent on it.
Okay, speech over.
So I put back that dress, still dreaming about it (no pics btw, later everyone likes it more than the actual dress I bought and I'll wanna chisat). Then I went to Treats! Never shopped there before but my sister told me they have nice, affordable stuff, so why not?
Once again aimed straight for the formal dresses in the back and at first glance saw nothing of interest. Randomly picked out 2 of the prettier dresses and went to try them on. Little did I know that one of them was THE ONE!!! And the rest is fashion history!
Yes, I bought the 3rd dress I tried on. Maybe that was a bit stupid, but I don't care. When you know, YOU KNOW! And I knew. Sides, my lack of trying does not indicate a lack of looking. I just saw so many hideous ones that I didn't even bother to take to the fitting room!
The mandatory bathroom shot.
Sakae Sushi for dinner. It wasn't very nice :( Which was disappointing because the branch at Queensbay was good, and always has super long lines waiting ages to go in.
Then it was time to go home a happy camper, my prom dress and I!
Closing with a baby shot, cause that makes everyone happy :D
