My thighs and right arm muscles ache like crap! Every step I take is excruciating. Sitting down, standing up and climbing stairs is a nightmare. All that's a sure-fire sign that I've been playing badminton!
This is pretty random, but I really wished I'd had more initiative and taken part in more activities throughout my secondary school years. For a long time, I only wanted to join stuff if my best friends did too. Only now do I realize how stupid that was!
Now that I'm months away from graduating, I feel like I haven't had the chance to accomplish anything at all. Like I missed out on a part of the "high school experience" that I'll never be able to get back. And I know it's completely my fault, obviously not blaming anyone.
(If you're somebody younger than me who's bothering to read this, then don't make the same mistake. Go out there and try new things!)
Which is why, I'm now scrambling to do everything I can! Btw, I WANNA DANCE!!! Anybody who's gonna dance for school events, consider me k? :) I honestly don't care if I get boo-ed on stage by haters, it's just something fun that I wanna try out at least once, and they can't spoil it for me.
Plus, I'm a real fast learner!!! As Jan learnt on Wednesday during Badminton Interhouse tryouts. I was serving like shit while we played mixed doubles. Like literally, complete shit. I served so cincai and high that Darryl just continuously smashed every one of my serves. So fed up, I was hit by the shuttlecock countless times! T_T
Then, a little while later, after Darryl came back from the canteen, I was practising serving with Jan and Darryl's mouth was like a big round :O! "How did you make her do that?!? Just now it was like... -_-" man, every serve was a free point for us! Now her serve like perfect already. Got potential eh." Or something like that. HEHEHEH Dawwylkins admitted I have potential! ^^ And my serve got Jan's seal of approval too :D
Yeah anyway, it only took me like 5 mins to learn how to serve... magnificently, if I do say so myself :D HAHAH self-praise! Is that fast?? Cause I can't really gauge... it was easy, so I expect it must be quick for other people too. Maybe not so impressive after all and I'm just hao-lianing for no reason.
But Jan went back to looking hopeless after I told him I wouldn't be around to train and practice during the holidays. I was the only girl who turned up for the tryouts! Poor Jan, he doesn't have much choice... Poor MacDougall too, if I'm their only option, then HAHA, we're SCREWED!
Still, pick me, pick me!!! I'm very enthusiastic and will be 100% dedicated to training. I promise to go to the gym to run every day when I'm in Malaysia and even lift weights! To like build up my stamina and stuff? :S Jan, are you even reading this?? :(
By the way, I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO SMASH! Like really badly, even though my reason is sorta fickle...
It looks mad cool! Even when done by our cina ah beng national sporting hero who kinda looks like... a tree squirrel. Will I get banished from Malaysia for saying that? LOL 0=)
I know you all are thinking it... Lin Dan = so much better looking! He kinda looks like he could be in some Mandopop boyband... the long-lost member of F4!
AHHAHAHHAHA I find this picture so obscene and weird pls!!! Half-naked and got one racket there dunno doing what! o.O
I realize I never take advantage of the huge gym and 2 pools at my Penang condo? Over here people have to pay B$10 per visit to the gym -_-" I've even got so many tennis courts!! Be jelez tennis playing friends! Too bad I don't play tennis.
Hopefully I'll still have the chance to do sports and dance and stuff when I go to INTI next year. I aspire to be a super involved person! I can't believe by December I'll be permanently living in Malaysia and by January 2011, I'll probably be a college student with a driver's license already.
Does anybody else feel like this is all moving too fast? (I think I'm turning into a broken record on this subject.)
P/S: Munsy <3 Aren't I shweet?
