Done with my hour-long cold shower. Now I'm all nice and sweet-smelling! I feel so much better than I did before, but I'm starting to feel the ache in my arms and legs :(
Why, you ask? Me, Jia Yee, Jan, Molly, Goh Ci Hao, Vuili, Kevin and some guy from Maktab Sains named Adam, went to play badminton at Centrepoint this afternoon!
I followed Jia Yee home from school and changed baju and had lunch at her house, before going together with her to Centrepoint where we met Jan, and the others arrived later on.
I'm so out of practice and I wasn't fantastic or anything, but I'd like to think I was actually pretty good, not horribly sucky. Hahaha, I'm so smug! But if I want to make the school team with Jia Yee next year (her dream!) it's gonna take a LOT of practice. Not looking forward to that T.T
There was this little Chung Hwa boy who was so pro man! He looked like he was 10 years old or something and he was like, whoa! Halfway through the game, he accidentally smashed the shuttlecock into Kevin's head and it still rebounded of it and flew over the net. It made a super loud "thwack!" sound and you could tell Kevin was seeing stars for a while. So kasian!
And Jia Yee got pwned by this really young kid, he was maybe... 6?! Looks like it la. And half my size! But omg, he was so good. Made me feel totally embarassed. And remind me next time, NOT to wear light coloured clothes. When you sweat... gah!!
Naturally, me and Jia Yee brought along our cameras and camwhored all the way along! :D
Argh, I look so fugly in uniform after school -.-
Lambak Terunjing?
Jia Yee's house!
Jia Yee acting cute while retrieving her school bag from the boot.
I get a surprise from Jia Yee's adorable dog, Snowy, who's so friendly and keeps licking me. Omg, I miss being around a dog that likes me.
The Bae Yong Jun poster!! In case you don't know, Bae Yong Jun is the guy on the wall of the Face Shop store in the Mall who frequently gets mistaken for a girl xD
She has a handmade scrapbook BFF poster of her and Mar. So chio!
Jia Yee's acoustic guitar! *drools with envy* But it's blue loh...
Her cute rug in her room.
"No, don't take pictures of my bras!"
Strumming Jia Yee's guitar hantam-style while she was taking a shower. I really want one!
Guess who this is! No brainer, she still looks the same. When you show people pictures of me as a kid, they go "Who is the little boy in that photo?!" -.-" FML.
More versions of my retarded face.
Lunch was asam laksa. Quite spicy! Had to keep drinking water. And the fishballs and sausages oozed spiciness!
"Noooo, don't take photos of me with my pimples!"
Look what I found, a chio pink rambutan!! And don't you dare go say it's red. It's pink, I swear! You look properly at the hairy thingies.
Snowy in her sleeping position, according to Jia Yee.
After so many failed attempts, I finally managed to capture a photo of Snowy where she isn't a white blur! 'Cause she just wouldn't stop moving. Cute, no?
Jia Yee's Dell laptop with a chio pink and green laptop skin. I feel like sticking a skin onto my lappie and then zhnging the skin, rather than zhnging my entire laptop which is effing tedious! (Zhng = bling)
See, no glass!
Look what she has, old school Polly Pocket!Haha, we're so childish. I can hardly find anybody these days who owns them though. I've got a huge bag full of them at home <3>
Washing my hands before putting on my contact lenses for badminton.
Right eye.
Left eye.
"I have a little shadow, that goes in and out with me"
I like the lighting in this shot :)
I feel so much better camwhoring after I've put on my mascara and lipgloss.
Jia Yee calls my eyelashes "feline". Rawwrr! Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE my Maybelline Cat Eyes mascara??
You know who's really feline? Garfield, that's who.
In the Centrepoint lobby, we found a huge mirror...
The Centrepoint lift that took us up to 7th floor badminton courts.
Tadaa! Ok la, it looks horrible in my photo. Blame my camera. I want a pink Cybershot!
My eyes are scarily huge!
I wonder what Jia Yee's digging in her big bag for...
And out comes her DSLR! :D A camera is definitely a blogger's best friend.
Giving the signature "I'm so cute" face. Hahaha.
Jia Yee modelling on court, and I don't think she noticed me take the photo.
Molly and Jia Yee when we were almost done playing. How come you can't see their sweat but I was sweating like a pig? I've never sweat so much before in my life!
This poor little shuttlecock was no match for one hard whack by Vuili.
Omg, I never knew this, but it turns out that if both you and a friend have Photobucket albums, there's an option to "copy to my album" and your friend's photo will be automatically saved to your album, at whatever size that your album photos are. So convenient!!
That's how I got Jia Yee's photos into my Photobucket album and resized to 320x240. All one in single, simple step! For the rest of them, go over to her blog. These are just the photos of me being all vain :D
This photo was actually a spontaneous candid shot which turned out surprisingly good. Jia Yee was photographing Jan when I randomly decided to jump in front of the camera.
I can't help but think that Molly and Goh make such a cute couple.
This is that Chung Hwa boy that I was talking about! Isn't he tiny??
You can tell from the photos that my hair is really getting extremely long and thick. Jia Yee said it looks like Megara, Hercules' wife's, hair. I've never watched that movie before, but obviously I know who she is. And I take it as a compliment 'cause I find her pretty hot! Hahaha.
But really, it needs a trim soon. I'm liking it long though, I don't want to go back to short hair again for a very long time.
I'm not gonna mousse it tonight because a.) I'm curious to see what will happen, b.) My arms ache to much to do it. Moussing my hair is like a 15 minute workout for my arms, and c.) I'm going to wash it again my lunchtime tomorrow anyway, so it'd be a waste of mousse.
And guess what I'm gonna be doing tomorrow! I'm so excited despite being deadly tired. I'm going to go plant trees with my friends just like an environment-loving, tree-hugger! For some reason the Captain Planet and Powerpuff Girl theme songs are ringing in my head.
Captain Planet, he's a hero, bring pollution down to the zero and...
Fighting crime, trying to save the world...
Oh, nostalgia.
And that's a wrap guys! Phew, I'm pooped. Zzz time!
